This sleek black TV console, from Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) furniture leader Prepac, supports a flat-plasma or LCD television in style while supplying ample media storage. Designed for up to 60-inch screens, the TV console holds DVD/Blu-Ray players, DVR, and video game systems like Wii, Xbox 360, or Playstation 3 in three open component compartments with two adjustable 21-by-15-3/4-inch shelves. A sliding back panel and three cable holes allow easy access for cable management. For media storage, two cabinets are provided. Each storage cabinet contains two adjustable 16-1/2-by-4-1/2-inch media shelves in the cabinet and one adjustable 15-3/4-by-4-1/2-inch shelf for the cabinet door, to create five shelf spaces per cabinet. The console offers space for 212 DVDs, 462 CDs, 120 VHS cassettes, or a combination of the above media. Prepac crafted the TV console out of medium-density fiberboard (MDF) and Melamine laminate. Just under the console’s profiled top, a curved apron stretches between the two cabinets for increased strength. The console stands on brushed metal dowel legs that adjust for various height needs. With legs under each corner, a fifth leg positioned beneath the console’s center lends extra support. The console sustains up to 150 pounds. The cabinet doors open by pulling on the brushed metal handles. To clean, wipe the TV console with a damp cloth. Take care not to spill on the MDF as it is not waterproof and will disintegrate if exposed to excess moisture. Shipped flat with foam injection packaging, the console comes with all hardware necessary for home assembly. For faulty parts, consumers benefit from a one-year, free part replacement program. Prepac covers this item with a 5-year limited warranty. The TV console measures 58 inches wide by 19-3/4 inches deep by 26-3/4 inches high and weighs 125 pounds assembled.

Affordable and pocket-friendly By Ian Young, We read many reviews on other sites on this point, with a fair share will be slightly negative. Reading between the lines, I guessed that these were from people who either are in a hurry is not able to follow directions, or had unrealistic expectations. We played, and ordered the product. It came at the right time, in two large boxes. All parts are in good condition. It took about two hours to assemble, while watching Austin Powers during the installation (a distraction, to say the least.) My fiancee has helped me a few times, standing up, hold doors in place while I attached them, and so on ... it was certainly easier with a second set of hands for the phases of the municipality. I took my time, you should use a small blanket to protect the face while on the top and sides during assembly. Although there was a lot of parts I was missing a screw (the one of the metal plates on the door of the magnetic closure) has been able to replace the one I had at home. For those who complained that the floor must be perfectly level, otherwise you do not meet exactly, I wonder if they were aware that the legs have adjustable feet on them? Our house is over 100 years, and is far from level, and adjust the feet, the stand is level and solid stable. All in all, the price represents this piece an excellent value. It is not in any way heirloom quality, and of course, for the price you will not. Once assembled, it looks nice. It fit our 52 "LCD perfect, with a little room on each side. The center has space for a DVD player, home theater receiver, a cable box, and center speaker. The only minor drawback is that it is a bit" short on depth for all the wires behind electronics. We wanted something not too deep, so we are happy with it but it's hard to get two rear center sliding panels to close the entire road, with all the cables through the holes, it moved, there is still room for around 200 DVDs 'is covering. For a laminated chipboard, assemble it yourself, pretty cheap TV-Center, you will find something much better. It looks and works great! 28 of 28 people found the following review helpful. Great item for the price. With CS, it takes about 2.5 hours to install with 2 people. I have a soft blanket, so there is little wiggle ... But it should be fairly stable rug on hardwood or commercial. There is room enough to fit over 200 DVDs in the doors. I have a 50 "plasma on it and it looks good. My only complaint is that it takes some strong rubbing the smudges and fingerprints from when you get ready for installation. But it is a great item for the price. 19 of 19 people found the following review helpful. Nice product, which is not horrible to put together by John H Fair booth was delivered to my door in two heavy boxes. It opened last night and went to work at 6 pm. I was watching a basketball game, so I took lots of breaks. I finished the installation of approximately 5 hours by myself. It was not difficult, but the instructions sheet is not the best. Here are some tips for you ... 1) Wait until the final nail on the boards again. This makes it easier for you to install the doors are the most difficult part of the process. I did this, and I like to have. Also be very careful here, because I accidentally left side wall with a nail ... 2) Make sure when you put the doors together by the end placed in the right way (both top out). This, I realized after putting in front of the door. With the instructions are in black and white, is a bit difficult to understand.
